What counts as health data?

This policy covers any information Psychgram handles that can say something about your physical or mental health: for example your answers to the tests, especially those on wellbeing, the results we calculate from them, and anything about your health that can be inferred from other data.

It adds to our Privacy Policy, which still applies. Where this page gives you more protection, it prevails.

H-02

What do we collect, and from where?

Your answers to each test, the results we calculate from them and the details you give about yourself, like your age range and gender. We get them directly from you when you take a test; we don’t buy them or receive them from anyone else.

We don’t collect your precise location or track you around places where health care is provided.

H-03

What do we use it for?

Only to calculate and show you your results, keep your history so you can compare them over time, email them to you and, anonymised and aggregated, check and improve how reliable the tests are.

We never use it for advertising, never sell it and never use it to make decisions about your employment, insurance, credit or housing.

H-05

Who else sees it?

Only the providers who help us run Psychgram, and only to do so: our hosting providers, who store it, and our email provider, who delivers your results. They work under contracts that stop them using it for anything else. Within Psychgram, only the people who need it to provide the service or answer you can access it.

Beyond that, it’s only seen by whoever you choose to share your results with, or by an authority if the law requires it. You can ask us for the full list of companies that have received your data.

H-06

How long do we keep it?

Until you delete the test or your account. We then erase it from our systems straight away, and the copies in our backups disappear as they’re overwritten, within 6 months at most. We also ask our providers to erase it.

H-07

What can you ask us for?

You can ask us to confirm whether we hold health data about you, give you a copy, name every company we’ve shared it with, delete it, or stop using it by withdrawing your consent. Using these rights never changes the price or quality of what you get from us.

Delete a test or your account from your account panel, or write to support@psychgram.com from your account’s email address. We reply within 30 days; if a request is complex and we need longer, we’ll tell you why.

H-08

And if you disagree with our answer?

If we turn down a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer or writing to support@psychgram.com with the subject “Appeal”. We review it again and reply within 45 days with what we decided and why.

If you still disagree, you can contact the consumer protection or data protection authority where you live.

Your health data stays in your hands.

Want to see what we hold, withdraw your consent or delete everything? Write to us from your account’s email address.
